From their amazing phones like the S23 Ultra and A53, to their revolutionary refrigerators such as the Bespoke series, Samsung excels in various home appliances categories. Among them, Samsung also dominates the soundbar market. In this post, I will provide an overview of Samsung’s most powerful soundbars and help you determine which soundbar is best suited for your TV. Types of Samsung Soundbars

Samsung offers a diverse lineup of soundbars, including the Q series, S series, B series, C series, and the Ultra Slim soundbar. Each series caters to different customer needs. Let’s explore the specifications of each type and help you decide which soundbar suits your requirements.

1.Q-Series Soundbar

The Q series soundbar is Samsung’s premium and most expensive offering. It is perfectly matched with Neo QLED 8K TVs, including the Frame TV QLED and OLED. Many people opt for the Q series soundbar to complement their 8K or QLED TVs. The Q series includes models like HW-Q600C, HW-Q990C, HW-Q930C, HW-Q800C, and HW-Q700C. HW-Q990C

The HW-Q990C is Samsung’s most powerful and expensive soundbar. It boasts four key features: Wireless Dolby Atmos, delivering incredible 3D sound quality; 11.1.4ch sound channel with 22 speakers, Q-Symphony, which synchronizes the TV and soundbar for an immersive audio experience; and SpaceFit Sound Pro, enhancing sound projection in any environment.

HW-Q600C

The HW-Q600C is a basic soundbar that comes with a 3.1.2 channel configuration and 9 speakers. It supports Dolby Atmos/DTS:X, offers Q-Symphony, and features Adaptive Sound for automatic sound optimization based on content.

2. S-Series Soundbar:

The S series soundbar is a great choice for Samsung Frame, QLED, or other slim TVs. It delivers impressive sound quality and a sleek appearance. You can easily connect the soundbar to your TV via Bluetooth, and it offers 3D sound capabilities. Unlike other soundbars, the S series allows wall mounting. Additionally, Alexa and Apple AirPlay integration are expected to be available soon. The S series includes models like HW-S800B, HW-S60B, HW-S50B, and HW-S61B.

HW-S800B

The HW-S800B features a 3.1.2 channel setup with 10 speakers, including a subwoofer. Its ultra-slim design is visually appealing, and it offers the world’s first Dolby Atmos surround sound wirelessly. With Q-Symphony, the TV and soundbar work together to provide an exceptional audio experience.

HW-S60B

The HW-S60B is a basic soundbar that does not include a subwoofer, but it still provides excellent sound quality with its 7 speakers. It shares similar features to the S800B and is a compact and lightweight option suitable for any room.

3. B-Series Soundbar:

The B series soundbar is Samsung’s entry-level and more affordable option. It is suitable for LED or UHD crystal TVs, but please note that it is not compatible with 4K or 8K TVs. The B series includes models like HW-B53C, HW-B650, and HW-B550.

HW-B650

The HW-B650 is the most powerful soundbar in the B series, equipped with a 3.1 channel configuration and 7 speakers, including a subwoofer. It supports Dolby Audio/DTS Virtual:X for an immersive 3D sound experience. With its wireless subwoofer, this model delivers deep, rich bass.

HW-B53C

The HW-B53C is a 2.1 channel soundbar with 5 speakers, including a subwoofer. It shares similar specifications to the HW-B650 but is not compatible with 4K or 8K TVs.

4.Ultra Slim Soundbar

If design and aesthetics are your priorities, the Ultra Slim soundbar is the perfect choice. Its sleek and slim profile complements Frame TVs, UHD, and 4K TVs. However, it may not deliver optimal sound quality for 4K videos. The Ultra Slim soundbar can be wall-mounted using a wall mount and can easily connect to your phone via Bluetooth. There are two models available: HW-S800B (Black) and HW-S801B (White).

HW-S800B

The HW-S800B is an ultra-slim soundbar with a 3.1.2 channel setup and 10 speakers, including a subwoofer. Designed for slim TVs like the Frame, this soundbar supports Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X, providing an exceptional 3D sound experience.

5. C-Series Soundbar:

The C series soundbar is Samsung’s basic model for 2023 and is compatible with QLED, UHD crystal, and QLED TVs. However, if you own an 8K, 4K, or LED TV, it is recommended to consider other models.

HW-C450/ZC

The HW-C450/ZC is a basic 2.1 channel soundbar with three speakers, including one subwoofer. It features Dolby Atmos for realistic 3D sound and DTS Virtual:X for an expanded listening experience. Adaptive Sound Lite adjusts the sound according to the content, enhancing the clarity and balance of audio.

Samsung soundbar remote

All Samsung soundbar come with remote control you can manage your soundbar easily. All remote model might be change according to soundbar model number and soundbar remote might be not available on Samsung website but you can buy by third party or Samsung Canada Parts.
